Cubist & K began working together in 2006, collaborating on a commissioned work for Adam Elliot (creator of Harvie Crumpet) for the 2006 Innovation Festival in Australia.
Since then Cubist & K have performed at many club and community events around Victoria including Federation Square, Bunker Lounge, Brown Alley and Laundry plus many more.
Cubist (Producer/DJ) & K (instrumentalist/vocalist) perform 100% original music. A fusion of live instrumentation (voice/recorder) and Djing which explores genres such as Dubstep, Breaks and Drum ‘n’ Bass.
Damo & K came together in early 2006 to create their own original compositions and unique arrangements of well known rock ballads with guitar, voice and electronics. Their acoustic sound and sense of musicality is second to none. Damo & K are nothing short of exceptional and their superb display of technique, unique use of electronics and the recorder and driving rhythms make them a truly unique act.
The Pipistrelli Ensemble was founded in 2003 by Kara Ciezki in Boston, USA, as part of the Boston Early Music Festival. Since then the ensemble has performed numerous concerts of early, classical and contemporary music around Boston and in Australia. Being an international ensemble the group is comprised of performers from various parts of Australia and the United States.

Live performances in Boston’s Jordan Hall (one of the most acoustically perfect Concert Hall’s in the world) by Kara Ciezki (recorders), David McGrory (harpsichord) and the NEC Contemporary Ensemble.
Now regarded as one of Melbourne’s leading instrumental ensembles, the ACP has developed a reputation for versatility and the ability to provide orchestral forces ranging from full symphony orchestra to chamber ensembles. The ACP has behind it an impressive list of major works, which have included Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 conducted by Vladimir Vais, Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem conducted by Nicholas Braithwaite and the Australian premiere performance of Handel’s cantata La Resurrezione under conductor Graham Abbott.
As well as its own concerts, the orchestra has been in demand to support other ensembles, and has regularly accompanied choirs including the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir. Past performances with the RMP have included performances of Handel’s Messiah in Melbourne, Geelong and Bendigo, Music from the Movies (for Senior Citizen’s Week); a special Remembrance Day Concert which featured the Australian premiere of Morten Lauridson’s Lux Aeterna, and works by Barber, Sculthorpe, Copland and Vaughan Williams, as well as the highly successful Last Night of the Proms concerts in Melbourne Town Hall.
The ACP also presents a number of small scale chamber concerts in the Collins Assembly Hall, featuring the music of Handel, Vivaldi, Bach and Mozart, as well as a performance of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Requiem for the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day Remembrance Concert in 2004.
